A peaceful head carved from one piece of [very rotten but very much loved Monterey Pine [hollowed out at the back.]
This iconic tree fell in the tiltyard of Dartington Hall gardens.

An iconic much loved but very rotten tree that fell due to being very rotten in the tiltyard of Dartington Hall Gardens. My quest was to carve a large peaceful head that reflected the ambiance of the amazingly beautiful place.
